Are You Prepared?

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 – “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words”. (Source)

Friends, this is such a powerful couple of verses to me. God has been calling on me to bring this to His site and I am happy to do it. This is where God calls us up as was foretold so long ago. To me, I think of needing to prepare for our Lord’s second coming. I can’t see this being too much longer. Looking at the unfortunate events taking place in our world and bouncing them off of what the Bible tells us. The Bible is so spot on it’s undeniable. My brothers and sisters, I am making this post to show that the promised time of our Lord is coming soon. He is going to bring us up. I want all of you there with me. The Kingdom of God is at hand.

If you haven’t seen it by now, I recommend the movie “Vanished” (Preview). It is on Pure Flix. I found this to be a very eye opening movie. I really believe that this is a good representation of the Rapture.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-2 – “Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night”. (Source)

This keeps me humble and grounded. Although I do not know the day personally, nor does anyone for that matter, but I know that the Lord is coming. That gives me hope. Let’s keep our eyes open my friends. I can recall a long time ago going to a fellowship group and we were discussing this very topic. One gentleman that was there says that he only wishes to serve God’s will and ensure Christ is in his heart because he doesn’t want to be one of the people left behind after the Rapture happens.

I have heard some people even ask, “Is the Rapture real?” Some may even wonder “Does the antichrist come before the rapture?”
