Friends, this is one exciting day! This is the day our Lord rose from the dead. He conquered death. I am just filled with joy to know that our Lord is eternal and He is here to stay forever! I received a text from a gentleman in my bookclub that told me a number of friends will be born again in the spirit yesterday. Although I could not attend this joyous occasion, I still was elated because a thought came to mind. The thought was “more souls were set free”. Set free from Satan’s clutches. These brothers and sisters get to spend eternal life with the Father. From my perspective, this is the single biggest decision a person can ever take. Bigger than marriage, bigger than buying a home, etc.
Romans 10:9 – “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”. (Source)
Friends, this couldn’t spell it out any clearer. Let us all take the time, especially today, to give honor a glory to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for all of us. He was God made flesh and was unwavering in His purpose to give up His body as a living sacrifice. I am grateful to be reborn in the spirit. To really learn what it meant to be a sacrifice for something greater than my own self. I am here to profess that the Lord came down from Heaven, became flesh, lead a sinless life, gave up His body and died for the sins of all mankind. Then was risen by God and is eternally at God’s right hand and still is fulfilling God’s will. I fully accept Him into my heart and know that His kingdom is at hand. I invite each of you, as my brothers and sisters, to reaffirm your beliefs this day in Christ our Lord!
