It is simple… God is not just a counselor. He is THE Counselor. He is the best counselor. God knows best because He knows all. He knows what we all think, say, feel or do. He even knows what we are going to do before we even do it. He knows this for every single person alive at all times. Given this fact, why do we still try to do things outside of His will?
Psalm 27:14 – “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, i say, on the LORD”.
We tell God all the time “I trust you”, yet we still try to make things move to our desires instead of searching for God’s desires for us. I can tell you that saying “I trust you” has no meaning when we do this.
2 Conthians 12:9 – But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
God has plans, plans, and more plans up His cosmic sleeve. We may be going through a trial, we may be going through uncertainty. However, God has an ultimate plan that supercedes any situation we face. He loves us so much and His grace is sufficient enough for us.
