His Purpose

He knows us before we were even born!

Psalm 139:13-16 – “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them”. 

Isn’t it crazy to think that we were known before we were even formed?? This makes me think about the sayings “You were built for a purpose” or “I am trying to understand my purpose”. Folks that unfortunately commit suicide, first and foremost, want whatever pain they are feeling to stop. However, they are trying to find the purpose of their existence and come to the conclusion that they have no purpose and are better off gone. Well, the truth of the matter is this… God has a divine purpose for us all. We just have to search and find what God put here for us. People that want to end their lives from the pain they are feeling are most likely close to making a breakthrough toward their purpose since they are in a state of feeling like the pain they are experiencing has become too unbearable. Things like they are about to be homeless because of the unpayable debt.. All of their relationships are in shambles.. They are depressed with everything in life… They can’t have a successful relationship with their children due to reasons outside of themselves, etc…. You get the point.

Matthew 16:26 – “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?”

People who are rich at times tend to think they found their purpose was to be rich and do rich things. History has shown us you can have all the money you can ever think of having and still be unhappy. Just because a person is rich doesn’t mean his/her purpose is fulfilled. They have that unfillable hole in their hearts that money can’t fill up. That unfillable hole swallows up all of their money and they are driven to need more because it isn’t enough. Thus, they lose sight of what’s most important for us all… A relationship with God. The ONLY thing that can fill that hole is God. That is it… He purposely created that hole because He wants us to seek Him diligently.

I can say, finding purpose in doing these posts and making this website for God has me feeling excited… That I have a platform to share my love for God with the world and to glorify His name… Well, if it reaches the hearts and minds of people and helps them to make a relationship with the Father… Then all the better. I don’t have millions of dollars, but I feel spiritually richer doing this. Thus, the hole in my heart is filled more and more. All the glory of this goes to the Father.

My hope and prayer is that before the King returns, that all of God’s children personally find Him and hold a close, personal relationship with Him. This won’t give Satan much of an Army to fight with.
