If it ain’t God, it ain’t worth it

We spend so much time focused on the wrong things in life don’t we?

I will be up front…. If God doesn’t give me something to move forward with in my life, then I am ok without it. Society says to “chase the desires of your heart!” In this context, they refer to earthly things. We get so hard pressed on running ourselves into the ground chasing a tangible goal that is temporary. Something that will give us some sort of value or stature here on planet Earth. How many of those “desires” can we take with us into God’s kingdom? I have to be honest, after seeing the earth the way it is now with all the politics and financial power, the violence, the racism, the abuse, the differences in the way society views a certain sect of people and the like…. I have no interest in pressing hard to achieve any sort of stature here in this unrecognizable planet that God created so long ago.

To be frank, I am disgusted by this! This is not what God wanted. Of all the scriptures I have read (which are too many to count), none of them state that the color of your skin mattered, or your gender mattered, or your age mattered, or the place you prayed mattered, etc.

John 4:24 – “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

The only thing that matters is that we put God FIRST… That we pray in the spirit, and in Truth. Satan is having a field day with the world. He has corrupted so many officials with his lies and deceit. This in turn has boiled over to the masses. This is the reason why we have so many problems in the world. We have forgotten the single most important fact that holds true no matter what era, no matter what the situation is, no matter who is “in charge” in the world, no matter what events are happening…. We MUST put God first…. Period. As Christ told Pontius Pilate, “You have no power over me except that which is given above” – John 19:11. The same holds true for people who are appointed over us. God allows them to be there in that place for a reason. This is why Christ said to do what you are told, just don’t do what they do, more or less. There is a reason for everything.

Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you”.

God has allowed so much to happen with His passive wrath because we have repeatedly turned our backs on Him. Do you really think God would have allowed COVID-19 to be in the world if the world hadn’t turned its back on Him? Look at the timing. COVID-19 hit while the world was in chaos and not focused on God! We, as His children, must continue to proclaim His name out there to the masses. Jesus told His disciples to go out and preach the gospel. While most of us are not actually ordained ministers, fathers, preachers, etc, we can still bring God in some way or another to those around us. One person can affect change.

This outlet with all of you has given me an opportunity to be close to God and glorify His name without judgment. I am just a normal person with normal challenges like I am sure that each of you have in some way. I will openly say that I love all of you. You are my brothers and sisters in Christ and I enjoy being on this part of my walk with all of you.
